Hearing him say it again, Medusa slowly lowered the arm she had raised and questioned him suspiciously. “You can really help me take human form? How am I supposed to believe you? What if you do something to me halfway through? Wouldn’t I suffer a terrible loss?”

At the thought of such an outcome, Medusa slowly clenched the fist she had just relaxed.

“If I truly wanted to harm you, I could do so right now. As for why I have no desire to kill you…” Qian Mo’s gaze roamed boldly over her body. “With such a beauty standing before me, how many people could bear to strike you?”

“She really is beautiful!” Qinglin said, openly examining Medusa.

She had been frightened of Medusa back in the valley of strange flames, but now she had grown much bolder.

Medusa felt extremely uncomfortable beneath their almost invasive gazes. She took a deep breath and suppressed the temper that was about to erupt. Then she gave Qian Mo a bewitching smile.

“Since you claim that you can help me take human form and break through to the Dou Sect level, you must have some proof. Do you have a Transformation Pill?”

Tsk, tsk. This snake spirit is truly tempting. She actually dares to seduce me. Once she becomes human, I absolutely must make her mine.

As Qian Mo spoke, he lifted his palm slightly. A vivid crimson flame appeared in his hand.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” he asked, gazing at the Phoenix Divine Flame enveloping his palm.

“That is… a strange flame?” Medusa blurted out as she stared at it.

“A strange flame? Hmph! How could some ordinary strange flame possibly be compared with my Phoenix Divine Flame?” Qian Mo said disdainfully.

“Oh? Are you saying that this slightly redder flame of yours is more advanced than a strange flame? I don’t see much difference.” Medusa sneered, putting on an air of disbelief.

“How could creatures living in such a primitive place possibly understand the wonders of the myriad worlds?” Qian Mo gave a faint smile. After a brief pause, he continued, “Enough nonsense. Whether you want to try it or not is up to you.”

As he spoke, he gently waved the flame before Medusa’s eyes.

Medusa stared fixedly at the flame before her, hesitation filling her heart. In the end, however, she made her decision. Frowning, she looked at Qian Mo and said coldly, “I hope you are not lying to me. Otherwise, even if I must die, I will drag you down with me!”

“Relax. You are so beautiful that I would not have time to hurt you even if I wanted to.” Qian Mo smiled and asked again, “Are you ready? The people causing trouble outside your city will not miss this opportunity to attack while you are evolving.”

“Hmph! Those loathsome humans. Once I leave this place, I will make them pay. As for whether you will hurt me or not…” Medusa turned toward him with a bewitching smile. “Isn’t that why I have you here, Young Master?”

Tsk, tsk. This snake spirit certainly has something about her.

Qian Mo’s anticipation grew.

“Since you are ready, then let us begin!”

With that, Qian Mo flicked his hand and sent a mass of deep-red flame sweeping toward Medusa.

“Then should your brother make Sister Medusa your sister-in-law? That way, she can play with us all the time.”

Qian Mo stroked Qinglin’s hair and smiled mischievously.

“Oh! Brother, you like Sister Medusa!”

Qinglin paused and pointed at Medusa burning in the flames.

Then Du Yue turned toward the people of the Misty Cloud Sect and shouted coldly, “Her Majesty Medusa has evolved successfully and entered the Dou Sect realm! You damned humans, prepare to perish! Hahaha!”

“Damn it! We are still too late!” Gu He clenched his hand and spoke in a low voice. “Sect Master, what should we do? If Medusa completes her evolution and breaks through to the Dou Sect level, we are finished!”

Yun Yun narrowed her eyes and knitted her brows. Just as she was about to strike, three voices rang out from behind her.

“Sect Master, go on ahead! Leave these people to the three of us!”

Yun Yun nodded faintly, gripped the Jade Peak Sword, and charged forward.

“Damn it! Her Majesty Medusa must be all right!”

The elders were blocked and could only shout in frustration.

Outside, Yun Yun flew above the pillar of light. Raising the Jade Peak Sword, she shouted, “Ultimate Wind Art—Dustfall Annihilation!”

Then she swung her sword down toward the radiance.

In an instant—

Boom!

The room was shattered completely, and an explosion rang out.

“Her Majesty Medusa!”

“Sister Medusa!”

“Her Majesty Medusa!”

The people below shouted as they stared at the site of the explosion.

“Damn it! Let me through!”

Several elders who had been blocked shouted with voices filled with icy rage.

“Snake Heaven Formation!”

The elders surrounded Gu He and the other two, forming a formation intended to kill them.

“This is bad! Run! They are about to activate a formation technique!”

Gu He and the others shouted.

“Run? Heh heh. Too late. Stay here and be buried with Her Majesty Medusa.”

The elders spoke grimly as they formed seals with their hands.

In an instant, a barrier enveloped Gu He and the other two. A serpentine symbol appeared above and below them—the snake beneath, and the heavens above.

“Die!”

Several elders shouted and thrust their hands forward.

“This is bad! Combine your strength and break the formation, or we will all die here!” shouted one of the black-robed men behind them.

“Yun Lei, Yun Hu, attack one point together! Quickly!”

Gu He flew upward and shouted.

It turned out that the two black-robed men were named Yun Lei and Yun Hu.

“People from the Misty Cloud Sect truly are no good,” one of the snake-people elders sneered. “Once you are dead, I will drag your Sect Master down with you. Even if the snake-people perish, I will not regret it!”

“Attack!”

Two voices shouted at the same time. Within the formation, Gu He and the other two joined forces to strike one point, while outside, the four elders poured their strength into the Snake Heaven Formation, intending to annihilate them.

“Hmph! Stop struggling pointlessly. It is useless. Unless one possesses the strength of a Dou Sect, everything you do is futile.”

The strongest of the elders gave a cold snort, his voice low and hoarse.

“Hmph! How would we know it is useless without trying?”

Gu He and the others refused to believe that their combined strongest attack could not tear open a breach. They shouted angrily and attacked with all their might.

Seeing how adorable she looked, Qian Mo could not resist reaching out and pinching her soft cheek.

Qinglin said nothing. She merely stared at him with her small eyes.

Above them, Yun Yun looked down at the destroyed building. When the dust gradually dispersed, she saw a man dressed in white robes slowly walking out while carrying a young girl.

Yun Yun was startled. She descended slightly and looked at the two of them.

“Who are you? Why are you inside Medusa’s residence? Did you take the Green Lotus Core Flame?”

She pointed the Jade Peak Sword at Qian Mo as she questioned him.

“Oh? And who are you? Do we know each other?” Qian Mo asked, pretending not to understand.

“You do not need to know who I am. It will do you no good.”

Yun Yun’s voice came from beneath a different veil she had put on.

“Enough. Go back to wherever you came from.” Qian Mo tugged at his hair. After a pause, he raised his head and boldly surveyed Yun Yun. “I do not wish to hurt you, especially since you are a beauty.”

“Brother! Is the older sister in front of us going to become my sister-in-law too?”

Qinglin waved her adorable little finger toward Yun Yun as she shouted at Qian Mo.

“Sister-in-law?”

Yun Yun’s eyes narrowed instantly. Her beautiful face beneath the veil flushed faintly, and she angrily exclaimed, “You… you lecherous rogue! Such a lovely little girl is actually following a scoundrel like you!”

Yun Yun stepped forward.

“Prepare to die, you lecherous rogue! Ultimate Wind Art—Meteor Annihilation!”

When she thought of such a young and adorable girl calling this man her brother, Yun Yun became even more furious. If she allowed such a good child to remain with him, the girl’s future would surely be ruined. Once she dealt with this scoundrel, she would take the child back and educate her properly.

Yun Yun was stunned by his movement. Qian Mo was now rushing toward her, and his two fingers could easily strike her. Yet she could not release the Jade Peak Sword from her grasp.

This is bad!

“Ah!”

Yun Yun cried out in surprise, her voice soft and alluring.

With a force that did not injure her, Qian Mo pushed away the hand gripping the sword. The Jade Peak Sword instantly flew free.

A tremendous force sent Yun Yun flying backward through the air. Her body spun out of control, and her robes and skirt fluttered.

Qian Mo set Qinglin down, then leaped and vanished from the ground. When he reappeared, he was beside Yun Yun.

He extended his right hand and caught her graceful body, pulling her firmly into his arms. Leaning close, he whispered, “You called me a lecherous rogue. Now that you are lying in my arms, what does that make you? A female rogue?”

Yun Yun still had not understood what had happened. Her mind was dazed.

How comfortable.

Her head rested against Qian Mo’s chest, while her elegant figure formed a graceful curve in his steady embrace.

When Yun Yun finally came to her senses, her beautiful face beneath the veil was as red as an apple. She struggled against Qian Mo’s embrace and shouted, “You… you shameless rogue! How dare you!”

“You are shameless! Let go of me at once, or I swear I will kill you!”

Yun Yun struggled desperately, but she could not break free from Qian Mo’s grasp.

Qian Mo tightened his arm, and her entire body once again settled against his chest. His voice was elegant, touched with a faint gentleness.

“You cannot defeat me when you fight, and you cannot outtalk me either. Now you cannot even escape my embrace. Tell me, since you slandered me by calling me a lecherous rogue, should I prove that I am exactly the kind of rogue you claim I am?”

As he spoke, Qian Mo lowered his head and whispered into Yun Yun’s ear. While speaking, he carried her higher and higher into the sky.

Yun Yun’s body trembled faintly, and her eyes widened slightly. Her voice shook as she asked, “What… what are you trying to do?”

Qian Mo openly breathed in the captivating fragrance emanating from her body.

It was her natural scent.

He murmured, “You smell so wonderful. Any man would lose control after breathing in your fragrance. If I made you my woman right now, I doubt anyone could stop me.”

His eyes remained fixed on Yun Yun.

“No! Please, no!”

Fear and regret surged through Yun Yun’s heart. The man was right. She was a four-star Dou Emperor, yet she had been utterly powerless in his hands, like someone without the slightest means of resistance.

She shook her head and begged him desperately.

Qian Mo reached out and stroked her delicate cheek and chin. Then he glanced at the veil covering her face and frowned.

With that, he reached out and removed Yun Yun’s veil.

“No, don’t!”

Yun Yun shouted, but Qian Mo’s hand moved too quickly for her to stop.

Yun Yun now revealed a small, delicate face, alluring pink lips, two short strands of hair falling gently beside her cheeks, long eyelashes, and large, dark eyes.

Qian Mo stared at her for a moment, stunned.

“Beautiful,” he murmured.

Then he gave her a wicked smile and pretended not to know.

“What is your name? Tell me.”

Yun Yun turned her head away and coldly snorted.

“Oh? You have quite a temper.”

Qian Mo smiled. After a brief pause, he continued, “But I like women like you. When I conquer the myriad worlds in the future, you will be my empress.”

Yun Yun was startled by his enormous ambition. Although she did not understand what conquering the myriad worlds meant, she understood the words “empress” and “Emperor.”

Could he be referring to a Dou Emperor?

She struggled violently once more and shouted, “I refuse! Let me go! If you will not release me, I will kill myself!”

“Hmph. Such a sharp tongue. All this talk of death is utterly useless. I will give you a little punishment.”

Qian Mo snorted at her words. He raised her chin with one hand. Yun Yun could not resist his strength and was forced to lift her head.

“Your lips are truly beautiful. As my future empress and my wife, I will collect a little interest in advance and make sure you remember me.”

With that, Qian Mo lowered his head and fiercely kissed her soft lips.

“No…”

Yun Yun tried to cry out, but her lips were sealed.
