Chapter 109: Sorcery? Magic?

Glancing at the gangsters’ stats, the highest level was only 14, and their attributes were abysmal. Chen Yun rolled up his sleeves angrily and declared, “You think I’ll let you go? Haha, I’m telling you, not a single one of you leaves today!”
Brother Wei burst out laughing, “Kid, what did you say? Not letting us go? Oh please, we beg you to let us stay right here. Haha!”
His underlings also laughed heartily. Chen Yun fixed them with a cold stare and said, “I originally thought you were just simple extortionists, and I was going to teach you a lesson and leave it at that. But now that you’re involved in human trafficking, I can’t just stand by.”
“You want to control us? You should take care of yourself first! Brothers, this brat has no idea what he’s done. Take this girl back with us; after we’ve had our fun, we’ll sell her off!” With that, one of Brother Wei’s men lunged forward.
Before he could make a move, Chen Yun slipped his hand into his pocket, focused his mind, and pulled out an old-school cellphone, hurling it straight at the thug’s head. The system had marked this device as indestructible, and its impact was no less devastating than a brick.
“Player Chen Yun has acquired the civilian skill ‘Throw’.”
Throw: Civilian skill. Throws an item in hand to attack the target. Thrown items automatically lock onto the target’s lethal points. 1% chance to cause stun. Each use consumes 10 mana points. Cooldown: 1 second. Level 1. Proficiency: 0/100.
Chen Yun chuckled to himself, surprised that a casual toss had unlocked such a practical skill!
The sudden strike from the massive cellphone stunned the thug, a red “-26” floated above his head.
A Qi stared dumbfounded at the colossal phone in Chen Yun’s hand, unable to fathom how he had pulled such a huge device from his pocket.
“Damn it, this kid even dares to make the first move? Take him down!” Brother Wei roared in fury as he slapped at Chen Yun.
Chen Yun smirked coldly, sidestepping the gangster leader’s slap. With a wave of his right hand, he pulled out two more old-school cellphones, one in each hand, and struck the thug’s temples from both sides.
Bang!
Chen Yun’s speed was lightning-fast; the leader hadn’t even reacted before the phones hit.
“NPC gangster leader attacked, triggering 5x damage. HP reduced by 300. Entered ‘Severe Stun’ state.”
Five times damage? Chen Yun was stunned for a moment before realizing he had struck the opponent’s temples—the equivalent of hitting a monster’s weak spot in the game, which guarantees a multi-hit critical.

The gangsters, seeing their boss knocked down like a cookie between two phones, were momentarily frozen in fear.
This kid was ruthless—using a cellphone to strike the temples was a deadly move.
Blood poured from their boss’s head, and the small-time thugs stepped back in unison.
“Come on, keep fighting!” Chen Yun sneered, brandishing his bloodied brick. “It’s just me against seven or eight of you. What’s wrong? Lost your courage? Weren’t you all set to tear me apart earlier?”
Though bitter and furious, none dared to move forward. They assumed their leader was already dead, and a person who could kill the first wouldn’t hesitate to kill the second. Better not to die foolishly.
“You’ve already killed someone, kid. You don’t need us to act—cops will come for you. Killing means death. You’re done for!” One thug backed toward the door, warning.
“Killed someone?” Chen Yun glanced at the severely stunned, bloodied leader on the floor. Indeed, he looked no different from dead, but Chen Yun was too lazy to explain; once the ‘Severe Stun’ wore off, the murder charge would collapse.
“Trying to run? Not so easy!” Seeing the thug near the door, Chen Yun silently invoked Throw again, and the phone in his hand shot like a streak of light toward the thug’s head.
Frightened, the thug covered his head with both hands and rolled on the ground, but what happened next stunned everyone—the other gangsters, the restaurant owner, and the already petrified A Qi.
The phone, about to strike the thug’s head, instead hovered just above it!
Yes, suspended midair, it shifted position and angle as the thug rolled, aiming to hit him the instant he lowered his hands.
Holy hell! Not only everyone else but even Chen Yun was dumbfounded. This was beyond amazing.
The skill description only mentioned automatic locking onto lethal points; he hadn’t expected it to include intelligent tracking and position adjustment.
Damn, system, are you trying to break the limits?
“This... is some cultivator’s magic?” the restaurant owner muttered dumbfounded.
“Cultivators don’t have magic like this. It must be a trick. Yeah, definitely a trick! This trick is incredible,” a thug said, impressed. “Way cooler than anything on TV.”

“No way that’s a trick. What kind of trick has tracking like that?” the restaurant owner shook his head, dissenting.
“Then what do you think it is?” the thug, excited by the argument, asked.
“I...” The restaurant owner was about to explain when his eyes suddenly widened. “Holy crap!”
The rolling thug, thinking he had dodged the phone, lowered his hands—but before he could fully do so, the phone, as if homing in on its target, slammed directly onto his forehead—dead center!
The blow was brutal. The thug screamed and toppled over, clutching his bloody forehead.
“Are you sure that’s a trick?” The restaurant owner pointed at the fallen thug. “What kind of trick is that violent?”
“I...” The thug was speechless.
Before he could say more, Chen Yun spoke.
“You’re the ones running forced sales and human trafficking, right? Fine, this phone here—if you seven pool together seven gold coins and buy it, you can leave safely. Otherwise, I can’t guarantee you won’t lose a few parts,” Chen Yun said, tossing the black-and-white cellphone in his hand.
...
The gangsters were stunned. They were used to forcing others to buy and sell, but now it was them being forced. Just as they tried to resist, seeing their ‘dead’ boss and the strange phone, their faces drained of color. This kid was merciless—a real player. Today, they were done for.
“What if we don’t have that much money?” one thug asked cautiously.
