Chapter 58: I Have a Boyfriend Now!
If it were an ordinary person, hearing such a commotion in the dead of night would surely scare them to death. Fortunately, Chu Fei was a man of exceptional courage, not just any ordinary person. After returning the black box to its place, he pondered whether to report the incident to his beautiful master. Yet, as before, he couldn’t get through to her. Ever since he left the mountain, he hadn’t been able to contact her at all. He was a little worried, unsure if his master would take advantage of his absence to seek out male models at the club.
After all, his master had once confided her dream to him: when Chu Fei left the mountain, she planned to turn the Daoist hall on Longming Mountain into a retirement home and hire a group of male caregivers, all under twenty-five and sporting eight-pack abs, to spend the rest of her days in bliss.
Indeed, sharing a bed never produces two kinds of people. If my master is so lustful, how could I ever be pure!
...
When he woke the next day, Chu Fei still hadn’t dreamed. He glanced at the black box on the table and decided he’d wait until all the dragon eyes closed before considering what to do next.
Today was the day he’d agreed to see a movie with Jiang Yunqi. Early in the morning, Chu Fei received a message from her. After confirming their afternoon meeting, he went to the living room to make breakfast for Shen Miaoyu and the others.
But as soon as he entered, he saw Shen Miaoyu with a sour face. She didn’t even greet him; instead, she pursed her lips and snorted coldly.
Chu Fei asked, “Want some breakfast?”
“I find it dirty!” Shen Miaoyu replied, then pulled Secretary Jin along, saying, “Come on, let’s go to the company!”
“Um, Shen, maybe you should go ahead, I’m a bit hungry.” Secretary Jin chuckled; after all, Chu Fei’s breakfast was far better than anything outside.
“Are you coming or not?” Shen Miaoyu glared.
Intimidated by Shen Miaoyu’s domineering presence, Secretary Jin reluctantly stood up and said, “Chairwoman, we’ll head out first…”
Before she could finish, Shen Miaoyu grabbed her by the collar and dragged her away. She slammed the door as she left, as if afraid Chu Fei wouldn’t hear.
Chu Fei scratched his ear, muttering that women were nothing but trouble.
“That girl is planning a cold war with you,” said Zhou Mi, standing at the staircase in a red lace nightgown, watching with a gleam of amusement.
From Chu Fei’s angle, she was a breathtaking sight.
He couldn’t help but swallow.
He thought to himself, no wonder she’s his fourth senior sister—with a figure like hers, anything she wore looked stunning.
Noticing his increasingly brazen gaze, Zhou Mi didn’t get angry; instead, she threw him a seductive look.
“Should I lift it up for you?”
Was there such luck? Chu Fei grinned, “Yes, yes!”
But Zhou Mi’s next words doused his enthusiasm with cold water.
“Doesn’t it hurt down there anymore?”
At the mention of it, Chu Fei instinctively squeezed his thighs together, the worldly desire vanishing from his eyes. Fearing Zhou Mi might suddenly kick him, he quickly dashed to the kitchen, saying, “Fourth senior sister, let me make you some noodles!”
It was an old joke, but recalling last night’s events, Zhou Mi blushed—this brat was definitely doing it on purpose.
Moments later, Chu Fei brought out two bowls of noodles. As Zhou Mi dug in, she said, “Shen Miaoyu seems genuinely angry. If you have time, I’ll teach you a trick or two—bring her back around.”
“Flight attendant, where’s the flight attendant?” Chu Fei asked eagerly.
“…There’s no flight attendant.”
“Then why say a flight attendant will teach me? Are you planning to demonstrate yourself, fourth senior sister?”
Zhou Mi rolled her eyes. “I shouldn’t have bothered saying anything.”
“No, but where’s the flight attendant?”
“Don’t make me slap you during breakfast!”
...
In the afternoon, Chu Fei arrived punctually at Wanda Plaza. Unfortunately, he was hopeless with directions, and the plaza was enormous; he couldn’t find the cinema. Unable to locate it, he sought help. Coincidentally, a short-haired girl was waiting nearby.
She was dressed in a trendy style, sunglasses on, a white crop top above, a short denim skirt below. Her figure was full and curvaceous, making her outfit tight and accentuating her devilish body. Her legs were fleshy, and the skirt hugged her curves in all the right places. Up close, her features were exquisite—a classic sweet girl.
Who could have guessed that beneath such a sweet exterior was an unexpectedly dangerous… figure.
But Chu Fei was used to seeing beauties. He calmly asked, “Miss, may I—”
“I have a boyfriend,” she interrupted.
“Congratulations. I just wanted to—”
“I have a boyfriend,” she repeated.
“It’s none of my business. I just—”
“I have a boyfriend! How many times do I have to say it before you understand?” She was annoyed. What was up with this shabbily dressed Taoist? She’d already said she had a boyfriend, yet he kept pestering her.
Chu Fei realized she misunderstood, thinking he was hitting on her. He was about to explain when another girl with long, straight black hair appeared.
She immediately linked arms with the sweet girl. “Keke, who is this?”
The sweet girl, Keke, replied irritably, “How should I know? He just started talking to me out of nowhere!”
The long-haired girl, used to such scenes, glanced at Chu Fei. “Listen, you’re good-looking, but your outfit is too low-class. Not Keke’s type. Don’t waste your effort.”
Chu Fei was speechless.
He was just asking for directions.
Were these two women crazy?
“No, I just wanted—”
“You want my WeChat, right? I won’t give it to you!”
Keke looked at her friend. “Xixi, do I look so approachable?”
“How do country bumpkins like this even have the courage to talk to me? It’s hilarious!”
Chu Fei fought the urge to slap her and looked at Xixi.
Xixi quickly stepped back, adding, “I have a boyfriend, too!”
Chu Fei: …
Where’s my knife?
Where’s my knife? I’ll cut them down!
“You’re disgusting. Didn’t get my WeChat, so now you’re after Xixi’s!” Keke folded her arms, looking down on him. “Let me tell you, people like you are just toads lusting after swan meat—understand?”
“Hurry up and leave. The longer I look at you, the more disgusted I feel.”
Xixi chimed in, “Exactly. We’re not the kind of girls you country types could ever win over. You should know your place!”
“Maybe you should visit a hospital,” Chu Fei suggested sincerely, then sighed, “Forget it, even the neurology department couldn’t fix you. Best to contact the funeral home directly.”
The two girls instantly flared up.
“You’re awful! Just because we won’t give you our WeChat, you curse us?”
“Loser is loser, so pathetic. Keke, let’s go. Ignore this uncultured jerk!”
Oh, dear. Who could understand his plight?
He just wanted directions and ended up with two self-absorbed girls. He really was about to lose it.
Someone should come and splash them with something yellow!
As Chu Fei was stewing over this, Jiang Yunqi’s voice rang out behind him, “Chu Fei, I’ve been searching for you for ages. So this is where you are!”
