Ouyang Jue was utterly bewildered.

He’d been at home, sipping tea and humming a tune, when suddenly someone burst in, shouting for his head.

Was there no justice left? No law at all?

He stood up at once, looking toward the main entrance. “Who the hell wants to take my dog life?”

“So, you know you’re a dog? I’m pleased you have that self-awareness,” Chu Fei said, strolling into the Ouyang residence with a cheerful smile fixed on Ouyang Jue.

The Ouyang family members were instantly incensed at the sight of Chu Fei walking in alone.

Their family was, after all, one of Dragon City’s most powerful clans. They’d always been the ones to trample on others—when had anyone ever dared trample on them? And now, someone had stormed in and openly called the young master of the Ouyang family a dog!

“Who are you, boy? Do you know where you are? How dare you act up here?”

“This is the Ouyang family! If you make trouble here, you’ll meet a dead end!”

“Kid, I suggest you get on your knees and apologize now—maybe we’ll let you keep your corpse intact!”

The crowd hurled indignant accusations at Chu Fei.

He ignored them.

With a casual flick of his hand, three streams of spiritual energy shot toward the three who’d spoken.

In an instant, they disintegrated into mists of blood, just like that cousin from the Shen family.

Now that Shen Miaoyu was no longer around, Chu Fei could finally kill without restraint. Heaven knew how suffocated he’d felt back at the Shen family, especially when he’d faced Shen Linglong’s pretty little skull—he’d often wanted to twist it open and see if it was filled with nothing but crap!

This display made the rest of the Ouyang family realize the situation. This guy hadn’t just parachuted into their home—he’d come to bomb them from the skies!

Staring at the three relatives who’d turned into bloody vapor in the blink of an eye, the rest of the Ouyang clan quietly retreated several steps, leaving Ouyang Jue standing alone at the front.

Just as Ouyang Jue was about to throw out another threat, he found himself abandoned and had no choice but to slink behind his father, Ouyang Cai.

“Dad, this guy’s got way too much killer aura—he’ll definitely jinx me. Why don’t you handle him?” Ouyang Jue muttered, giving in to his nerves.

Ouyang Cai, seeing that Chu Fei was no pushover, whispered, “Call Mr. Li from the National Martial Arts Hall—have him come and help. I’ll hold him off for now!”

Ouyang Jue nodded, backing away to make the call.

Chu Fei didn’t stop him. Instead, he sprawled out on the living room sofa, looking squarely at Ouyang Cai.

“I’m here to kill your son. Do you have any objections?”

Ouyang Cai forced a knowing laugh. “Young man, you lack martial virtue. I advise you to think carefully about your actions—”

Bang!

Without waiting for him to finish, Chu Fei grabbed Ouyang Cai’s head and slammed it down onto the table. The table shattered at once, and Ouyang Cai’s face was covered in blood, leaving him in a wretched state.

Chu Fei frowned. “I asked for your opinion. What the hell are you laughing at?”

“You little bastard, don’t push us too far! The Ouyang family isn’t some pushover!” Ouyang Cai threatened, “If you don’t let go right now, you’ll pay dearly for it!”

“You’re cursing me?” Chu Fei slammed Ouyang Cai’s head against the floor, again and again. “I hit you, and you dare curse me?”

Ouyang Cai: “...”

Ouyang Jue: “...”

“What are you all standing around for? Save my father!” Ouyang Jue snapped back to his senses and shouted at the bodyguards.

The bodyguards tried to muster their courage and move forward, but Chu Fei shot them a glance.

A tangible, murderous intent filled the room, suffocating everyone with its absolute pressure. The guards stood frozen, unable to move, and some of the weaker ones collapsed outright.

Who would dare court death against a demon like this?

Unable to endure any longer, Ouyang Cai forced himself to speak. “My friend... there must be some misunderstanding between us. Please, give me a chance to explain.”

He had no choice. If Chu Fei kept smashing his head like this, his life would soon be forfeit. For now, he had to keep the madman calm—once Mr. Li arrived, the situation could be reversed!

“A misunderstanding?” Chu Fei snapped, furious. “The first woman I took after leaving the mountain just happened to be your son’s fiancée. Your Ouyang family wants to take my woman—aren’t you forcing me to wipe your family out?”

“You’ve driven me to this point, and now you call it a misunderstanding? That’s just bullying an honest man!”

What?

If their understanding was correct, wasn’t it this kid who’d put a green hat on their young master? By rights, the Ouyang family were the victims—so why did he sound so righteously indignant?

“You slept with Shen Miaoyu?” Ouyang Jue glared at Chu Fei. “I’m asking you—did you sleep with Shen Miaoyu? She’s my woman!”

He’d been pursuing Shen Miaoyu for ages, even using his family’s influence to force her into an arranged marriage. He’d even announced to the whole city that Shen Miaoyu would soon be his plaything.

Yet, before he could enjoy the prize, this man had snatched her away.

At that moment, Ouyang Jue wished he could tear Chu Fei to pieces.

Chu Fei let go of the barely conscious Ouyang Cai, and flashed Ouyang Jue an “OK” gesture.

Ouyang Jue glared and shouted, “I’m asking you if you did it—what does an OK mean?”

“Didn’t I just answer you?” Chu Fei waggled his finger. “Three times, actually.”

“I’ll kill you!” Ouyang Jue lost all reason and charged at Chu Fei.

Just then, a middle-aged man stepped in front of Ouyang Jue. It was Li Changsheng—the reinforcements summoned from the Shen family—Deputy Director of Dragon City’s National Martial Arts Hall, his strength ranked among the city’s top ten.

“Young Master Ouyang, you’re no match for him. Leave this to me,” Li Changsheng said, blocking Ouyang Jue’s suicidal charge. He then turned to Chu Fei. “Young man, value your life. If you kneel and apologize now, you might yet live. Otherwise, not even your bones will remain!”

Chu Fei cocked his head, a crooked smile on his lips. “What a coincidence—I enjoy tempting death.”

“Then don’t blame me for bullying the young!” Li Changsheng barked, sinking his knees and shooting forward like an arrow, so fast he was a blur.

The crowd, seeing Li Changsheng get serious, was sure Chu Fei was done for. After all, Li Changsheng had fought in arenas his whole life—handling a youngster should be child’s play.

However—

The next instant, as soon as Li Changsheng reached Chu Fei, he was slapped aside and sent flying, landing on the floor in blissful, infant-like sleep.

Chu Fei picked up a tissue from the table and wiped his hand in disgust.

“You startled me. With moves that flashy, I thought you were at the Nascent Soul stage. Turns out, you’re just this?”

Ouyang Jue: “...”

Ouyang Cai: “...”

Ignoring the stunned gazes around him, Chu Fei, having dispatched Li Changsheng, walked toward Ouyang Jue.

Ouyang Jue retreated with every step, stammering, “Don’t come any closer!”

Just as Chu Fei was about to finish him off, a voice rang out from outside the door.

“I know you’re in a hurry—but hold on a moment!”
