What is the ultimate level of showing off?
It's not about slapping Jiang Yangrong to death in one blow.
It's about having the goddess he hopelessly loves stand up for you—that's the true, masterful slap in the face!
And it wasn't just Jiang Yunqi who did the honors—there was an extra bonus with Guan Ya.
Who was Guan Ya?
She was a campus belle just as famous as Jiang Yunqi, but of the cold, untouchable variety!
At least Jiang Yunqi's personality would make you feel you had a shot.
Guan Ya, on the other hand, could make you shrink away in shame with a single look.
She made you realize you were nothing—and yet you dared to pursue her!
Yet this icy beauty was now speaking up for Chu Fei, whom she had known for less than half a day.
You had to know, Guan Ya rarely deigned to even be civil to a boy; if she didn't scowl at one, that alone was worth lighting incense in thanks.
So, faced with this scene, all the boys present—including Jiang Yangrong—had only one thought:
Why? What on earth does he have?

Seeing the girls getting so heated, Chu Fei decided to abandon convention.
He put on a gentle, agreeable face. “Don’t be angry. It’s just a misunderstanding between Jiang and me. His words may have been hurtful, but if he apologizes, I’ll forgive him.”
“Yes, apologize!”
Prompted by Chu Fei, Jiang Yunqi immediately grew indignant. “You must apologize to Chu Fei!”
Jiang Yangrong’s face darkened.
He had no problem apologizing to Jiang Yunqi, but to Chu Fei? He was a hundred times unwilling—especially when the other guy was now wearing a “hit me if you dare” expression!
“Qiqi, he just beat me up this morning, and now you want me to apologize to him? Isn’t that a bit much?” Jiang Yangrong said feebly.
Jiang Yunqi, ever the double standard, replied, “That’s a separate issue. Even if he hit you, you can’t insult him, right?”
Jiang Yangrong fell silent.
Do you even hear yourself?

“Qiqi’s right.”
Guan Ya added her own jab. “If you do something wrong, you should apologize.”
Jiang Yangrong was speechless.
So, it was my fault for getting beaten up?

Seeing Jiang Yangrong still unmoved,
Jiang Yunqi brought out her ultimate threat. “If you don’t apologize, don’t ever talk to me again!”
Jiang Yangrong instantly deflated. Reluctantly, he turned to Chu Fei and muttered, “Sorry.”
“Jiang, everyone makes mistakes. I forgive you.”
Chu Fei’s words nearly killed Jiang Yangrong.
He clenched his teeth in hate, but there was nothing he could do.

He had planned to get his revenge on Chu Fei tonight, thinking he could gang up on him with numbers.
But now, never mind revenge—if he so much as insulted Chu Fei, Jiang Yunqi and Guan Ya would tear him apart!
It seemed he’d have to resort to underhanded tricks.
Luckily, as a well-connected rich kid, he had plenty of ways to humiliate Chu Fei.
With this in mind, Jiang Yangrong spoke up: “Qiqi, there isn’t enough room for everyone here. Why don’t we go to MIUMIU Bar? I’ll get us a table.”
“That’s easy. You all just don’t sit down,” Chu Fei interjected, deliberately irking Jiang Yangrong.
Jiang Yangrong complained, “I’m talking to Qiqi, why are you butting in?”
“Shut up. Chu Fei can say whatever he wants. Who are you to interfere?”
Jiang Yunqi rushed to defend Chu Fei.
Chu Fei’s eyes lit up at her words. “Really? I can butt in whenever I want?”
Jiang Yunqi didn’t catch the innuendo at first.
It wasn’t until Guan Ya coquettishly tapped Chu Fei’s arm that she realized his meaning was entirely different from her own, and her face flushed bright red!

Jiang Yangrong still didn’t understand, only knowing that the bastard had made his goddess blush again.
But because of Jiang Yunqi’s presence, he couldn’t lash out. He merely shot Qü Yiyi a look.
Qü Yiyi, who had benefited plenty from Jiang Yangrong’s generosity, immediately chimed in, “Qiqi, this place is boring. Let’s go to MIUMIU Bar. I want to go dancing!”
Jiang Yunqi was about to refuse.
But Luo Man leaned in and whispered, “Go on. Aren’t you always annoyed by Jiang Yangrong? With Chu Fei here, just use him as your shield!”
“But I’m afraid Chu Fei will be bullied,” Jiang Yunqi worried.
Luo Man stared at her as if she’d heard something unbelievable.
“Are you kidding? The way he acts, it’s a miracle he doesn’t bully others! You’re worried about him?”
Jiang Yunqi thought she had a point, so she turned to Chu Fei and asked, “Do you want to come with us?”
If Chu Fei didn’t want to go, she wouldn’t either.
“Whatever.” Chu Fei shrugged.
Guan Ya added, “If we go now, we’ll have to stay out all night.”
Hearing that, Chu Fei’s spirits soared. “Let’s go, of course! I don’t mind staying out all night—I just want to experience the bar atmosphere!”
He had planned to stall until the dorms closed anyway.
Now he didn’t even have to think about it.
As long as he could spend the night out, he was sure he could open one door tonight—or maybe even two!

After paying the bill, they all gathered downstairs.
Although Jiang Yangrong and his fellow rich kids weren’t locals, they had all bought cars in the city.
In total, there were four: two Porsche 718s, a Porsche 911, and a BMW Z4—entry-level sports cars, all.

But for university students, it was already quite an impressive display!
Qü Yiyi seized the opportunity to flatter Jiang Yangrong. “Wow, Young Master Jiang, you’ve changed cars again! This one’s so cool!”
Finally given a chance to show off, Jiang Yangrong took over the conversation. “It’s nothing special. This 911, with mods, cost a bit over two million.”
Luo Man came from an ordinary family; hearing the car was nearly two million, she gasped.
Jiang Yunqi’s family was comfortably middle class, but never allowed her to show off like this, so she felt a twinge of envy.
Guan Ya, on the other hand, couldn’t have looked more indifferent, as if a 911 was too cheap to even catch her eye.

Qü Yiyi, well-versed in how men’s minds worked, raised her voice toward Chu Fei.
“See that, country bumpkin? That car cost over two million. Do you even know what two million means?”
Before Chu Fei could reply,
the group of hangers-on finally found a point to feel superior about.
They started jeering at Chu Fei.
“Oh please, Yiyi, why embarrass a pauper like him?”
“Frankly, even if you gave him two million, he’d have no idea how to spend it!”
“With his status? He dares to compete with Young Master Jiang for girls? Where’s his confidence coming from?”
Jiang Yangrong grinned. “Don’t say that—maybe his car is even better than ours. So, where’s your car?”
“He doesn’t have a damn car! Probably got here by taxi—maybe even carpooled!” Qü Yiyi continued mocking.
Everyone except the three girls burst out laughing.
Jiang Yangrong feigned concern. “Oh, you don’t have a car? What now? Ours are all two-seaters, so you’ll have to take a cab.”
Chu Fei narrowed his eyes and merely smiled, saying nothing.
Jiang Yangrong pressed on. “You’re not so broke you can’t afford a cab, are you? I’ve got two hundred in cash—take it. Or have someone order you a ride!”
Chu Fei finally responded.
With a soft chuckle, he reclaimed the upper hand. “See that bright red Ferrari?”
Everyone followed his pointing finger.
Sure enough, parked there was a bright red Ferrari—triple the price of his 911!
Jiang Yangrong had a bad feeling. “What, is that your car?”
“Of course not,”
Chu Fei replied, not even pretending to show off, shaking his head with complete confidence.
“I just wanted you all to see it.”
Jiang Yangrong and his crew were momentarily stunned.
Just as they were about to continue mocking Chu Fei,
they saw him walking toward a Rolls-Royce Phantom!
