“Be gentle, it hurts...”

“Bear with it.”

After a night of wild abandon, Chu Fei woke from his slumber.

He had expected that the woman who’d tormented him three times last night would wake up screaming, pointing at him and cursing him like a beast.

But she was unexpectedly calm; she simply grabbed a pair of scissors and was about to bring them down.

Chu Fei acted quickly, grasping her arm, sincerely persuading her, “Sister, you’re still young, don’t go down the path of crime!”

“You’re lecturing me about law? If you cared about the law, would you have forced yourself upon me?” Shen Miaoyu’s beautiful eyes were nearly aflame.

She was the proud president of the Shen Corporation, the most renowned beauty in Dragon City.

She had lived a virtuous life for years, only to have her purity stolen by a stranger.

She could kill this wretched man!

“How can you say that?” Chu Fei spread his hands. “Last night, you were mostly on top. With those positions, it’s more like you forced yourself on me. I cried out in pain, and you told me to endure!”

Shen Miaoyu tried to recall the events of last night, looking at Chu Fei with a frosty gaze. “Explain yourself—what exactly happened between us?”

“The first time was in bed, you were on top. The second was in the bathroom, you wouldn’t let me go even while I was bathing. The third was by the floor-to-ceiling window, you turned your back to me, and then I…”

“Enough!”

Shen Miaoyu’s cheeks burned. “I’m asking why we ended up together, not for those sordid details!”

Chu Fei grumbled, “You should’ve said so earlier. I didn’t want to revisit those painful memories either. You were too fierce!”

“Enough. Get to the point!”

“You were drugged at the bar. I wanted to save you.”

Shen Miaoyu glanced at the love bites scattered across her body, and at her torn stockings, gritting her teeth. “Is that how you saved me?”

“There were other ways to detox, but I changed my mind.”

Shen Miaoyu asked instinctively, “Why?”

“You were too alluring—I couldn’t control myself.”

Shen Miaoyu was speechless.

This man was driving her mad.

“Who drugged me?” Shen Miaoyu forced herself to ask, holding back her anger.

Chu Fei replied, “The other woman at your table. She slipped the drug and left, then a few thugs arrived.”

“You can probably guess what would’ve happened next,” Chu Fei continued, “So I really acted out of righteousness—well, and maybe a little lust.”

After Chu Fei’s explanation, Shen Miaoyu had a rough idea who the culprit was.

Last night, she’d been in a foul mood and had dragged her younger sister Shen Linglong to the bar for drinks.

She never imagined her own sister would do such a thing—wasn’t this ruining her reputation?

“So, with everything clarified, am I free to leave?” Chu Fei cautiously rose to dress.

Shen Miaoyu looked at him in disbelief. “After what you did to me, you think you can simply walk away?”

“What else would you have me do?” Chu Fei pulled a wad of cash from his pocket, handing it to Shen Miaoyu nonchalantly. “If you’d prefer, you could call the police and report me for soliciting.”

Looking at the money Chu Fei offered, Shen Miaoyu’s face darkened. What did he take her for?

Sensing he’d pushed it far enough, Chu Fei quickly added, “Hey, I was just joking. I know last night was your first time—if you want me to take responsibility, I…”

Before he could finish, Shen Miaoyu interrupted disdainfully, “Take responsibility? With what? Do you even know who I am? Can you afford to take responsibility?”

“I can’t,” Chu Fei finished, turning to leave.

He never intended to take responsibility—why indulge her?

He’d finally left the mountain; he wouldn’t tie himself to a single tree.

Though this tree was as fine as his five senior sisters, women only slowed him down in pursuing others!

Seeing Chu Fei really about to leave, Shen Miaoyu shouted angrily, “Get back here!”

“Sister, what do you want from me?”

An idea struck Shen Miaoyu. She said to Chu Fei, “I want you to be my husband. I hope you won’t refuse this opportunity.”

“Just a moment ago you said I couldn’t take responsibility, now you want me as your husband. Are you out of your mind?” Chu Fei frowned, wondering if she’d been knocked senseless last night.

Shen Miaoyu explained, “It’s only in name. I’ll be honest—I’m being forced to marry someone I don’t like. I need you as a shield, and I’ll pay you for it.”

Chu Fei raised an eyebrow. “I don’t need money.”

Shen Miaoyu realized he responded better to softness. To avoid marrying someone she didn’t like, she had to keep this scoundrel around.

Thinking back to his peculiar tastes last night…

Shen Miaoyu stretched out her long legs, clad in torn black stockings. “If you agree, I’ll let you play with my feet…”

“Deal!” Chu Fei agreed immediately.

He couldn’t help it—he was obsessed with black stockings and legs.

Besides, he’d already arranged to meet his third senior sister in Dragon City. He’d be staying for a while, so he might as well help her out.

Chu Fei had grown up in Longming Mountain.

This trip down the mountain was to change his fate and investigate his origins.

His beautiful master had told him he carried the bloodline of the true dragon, cursed by the heavens, and destined not to live past twenty-five.

And… that was all.

Chu Fei, having gotten handsy and squeezed his master’s beautiful rear, had been cursed and kicked down the mountain.

He was told to find his third senior sister, who would teach him how to alter his fate.

Chu Fei sighed, regretting his actions.

If he’d known he’d get kicked down the mountain for that, he should’ve gone all the way and ridden the master’s ancestor—straight to his goal!

Seeing Chu Fei’s expression shift between lecherous and regretful, Shen Miaoyu complained, “What are you fantasizing about?”

Chu Fei snapped back, “Nothing. I’m just curious which kind soul—no, which bastard drugged you?”

“My sister.”

As she dressed, Shen Miaoyu said, “Turn away, I’m getting dressed.”

“What, even a gentleman needs to be guarded against?” Chu Fei muttered, but turned his head.

Once Shen Miaoyu finished dressing and removed the torn stockings Chu Fei had ripped, Chu Fei turned back. “Your sister drugged you, brought in some thugs to violate you, and if I’m not mistaken, probably planned to take photos. Your sister plays dirty, huh?”

“She wants to marry Ouyang Jue, so she tried to ruin me,” Shen Miaoyu said coldly.

“And who’s Ouyang Jue?”

“My fiancé, the heir to a powerful Dragon City family. My family needs theirs to survive, but I don’t want to marry him. That’s why I need you as my shield.”

After explaining, Shen Miaoyu took Chu Fei to the Shen household.

As they got out of the car, a woman appeared before them.

She bore a resemblance to Shen Miaoyu, but her demeanor was more cutting.

Chu Fei needed no introduction—this must be Shen Miaoyu’s sister, Shen Linglong, the culprit behind it all.

Shen Linglong glanced at Chu Fei, thinking he was handsome, though his gray robe looked outdated. In this day and age, who dressed like that?

“Sister, you must be starving—didn’t even spare a Taoist priest!” Shen Linglong mocked Shen Miaoyu.

Shen Miaoyu sneered, “So you’re done pretending?”

“Of course. Now that you’ve slept with a Taoist priest, what’s left to hide?” Shen Linglong jeered. “Soon I’ll tell Mom and Dad about your affair. After doing something so shameless, do you think there’s still a place for you in the Shen family?”

“You’ll be cast out, left homeless, while I’ll marry into the Ouyang family in glory. From now on, you’ll only ever look up to me!”
