Ten Million Territory Energy
Among the three magical items, Karen kept the Space Ring for himself.
The Void Mask was given to 'Deathwing,' and as for the Grim Bloodstone, Karen tried placing it in the Territory Store to check its value. Upon discovering that the Territory Store's acquisition price was one million territory energy points, Karen's eyes lit up. He immediately tested whether he could use it with Corpse Fusion to create a powerful undead.
Well, how should I put it? It wasn't that it couldn't be done, but this Grim Bloodstone had rather special fusion requirements.
The corpse it required needed to be dead for no more than three days, preferably female, and possess a strength of tier 6 or above.
After casting a glance at it, Karen prepared to put the item away. Where on earth was he supposed to find a tier-6 corpse for this broken stone right now? He decided to store it away first and deal with it later when an opportunity arose.
However, just as Karen was about to put the Grim Bloodstone away, he suddenly felt two intense, burning gazes fixed on him. Subconsciously turning his head, Karen saw two completely different reactions from the owners of those gazes.
Alice immediately looked away, adopting a 'I am not looking' expression that bore a striking resemblance to Nifu, while Little Green beside her eagerly pressed forward, fawning shamelessly.
"What? You want it?"
Karen's words energized the two undead. Little Green even stammered in broken human speech, "I... sacrifice... grow stronger!"
Alice didn't answer, but her eyes darted toward the stone in Karen's hand, a clear droplet at the corner of her mouth betraying the girl's thoughts, while also completely shattering any idea Karen might have had about giving the Grim Bloodstone to Alice.
"No random eating!"
Tossing Alice's head, Karen didn't hesitate and tossed the Grim Bloodstone directly to Little Green nearby.
He had always been extremely generous toward his confidants and his undead.
Yet, the moment Alice saw Karen toss the Grim Bloodstone to Little Green, her little mouth drooped into a pitiful, teary expression.
Seeing her look like that, Little Green—who had just excitedly grabbed the Grim Bloodstone—instantly froze. After a brief hesitation, it gritted its teeth and, with the utmost reluctance, offered the Grim Bloodstone back.
"No playing the pitiful card, no acting cute, don't snatch from Little Green. If you want to eat something, eat this!"
With a wry smile, Karen waved his hand to chase Little Green away, patted Alice's little head, and pulled a blue stone from his space ring to hand to Alice!
Alice was easily satisfied; she happily took the blue stone from Karen's hand and began to munch on it with loud, crunchy crunches.
Seeing that Alice's attention had been diverted, Little Green hurriedly grabbed the Grim Bloodstone, ran off to the side, and began the ritual of sacrifice!
Blood-red runes appeared on Little Green's body once more, and a blood-red magic array materialized on the palm holding the Grim Bloodstone.
Accompanied by this magic array, the blood-red stone began to melt slowly, while a crimson mist emerged, tightly enveloping Little Green.
At first, Karen stood nearby holding Alice, watching and anticipating what Little Green would look like after sacrificing the Grim Bloodstone.
Soon, however, Karen realized that Little Green's sacrifice this time probably wouldn't be as fast as he had imagined.
Ten minutes passed, and although Little Green was shrouded in crimson mist, the Grim Bloodstone showed no signs of diminishing whatsoever.
At this rate, Karen estimated he wouldn't see Little Green complete the sacrifice for days.
Realizing this, Karen immediately summoned a legion of the undead to surround and protect Little Green, while he himself continued with the busy task of tallying his gains.

Aside from the 12,000 gold coins, books, and magical items obtained in Oduo City, Karen also reaped massive rewards in corpses and territory energy.
As for corpses, needless to say, Karen had excavated the entire city, hauling back the bodies of every skilled professional he could find.
Coupled with the uninhibited excavation of the ancestral tombs of Oduo City's nobility, he had also dug up the corpses of quite a few powerful individuals.
Upon returning to his territory, Karen took stock: he had brought back 1 tier-6 corpse, 8 tier-5 corpses, and 27 tier-4 corpses.
The corpses of these powerful individuals were mostly the ancestors of those noble elites. To unearth these bodies, Karen had ruthlessly wielded his blade through several rounds of slaughter.
In contrast, acquiring the corpses of skilled professionals was much simpler. Without expending much effort, Karen had collected 121 of them.
As for territory energy, Karen's harvest was similarly terrifying.
In the battle of Oduo City, Karen had successively defeated three armies, directly slaughtering nearly thirty thousand people, among whom there was even a tier-5 entity.
Those thirty-odd thousand people netted Karen a harvest of 1.55 million territory energy points.
How should he put it? It was by no means a small amount, yet this batch of territory energy was not Karen's largest gain in Oduo City.
Aside from the 1.55 million territory energy points, Karen secured another bounty in Oduo City.
That was the acquisition of magic stones—stones containing energy similar to the Water Stone Karen had obtained near the Mermaid Lake—which he found while looting the noble clans.
Those magic stones were identical to the Water Stone in that they could be sold, each also fetching a price of 10 territory energy points.
Having ransacked Oduo City, Karen acquired 45 of them, selling them to the Territory Store for 4.5 million territory energy points.
In other words, Karen's victory in taking Oduo City yielded a total of 5.05 million territory energy points. Combined with the 9.6 million territory energy points Karen possessed before capturing Oduo City, the territory energy currently in his hands reached a terrifying total of 14.65 million.
With such a terrifying stash of resources in hand, Karen did not hesitate and immediately began investing his territory energy.

In a single breath, Karen directly plowed through 2.58 million territory energy points, causing his strength to skyrocket by a massive margin.
Karen's territory attributes also underwent dramatic changes.
