The manager, Liu, took responsibility and waived the commission on the deal, and in the end both sides were thoroughly pleased.

After the adventurer received the transfer, he insisted on adding Wang Chen’s contact information, saying he wanted to treat him to a meal.

Faced with such sincerity, Wang Chen could only honestly hand over his phone number.

After a round of polite small talk, the three parted ways.

As Wang Chen walked along the street, he felt deeply moved. He had never imagined that the power of the Blessing Potion would be so remarkable, bringing him such immediate good fortune in a way that felt almost fated. And it had all come about through a connection long since planted.

The person who invented the Blessing Potion was a genius. It was a pity he had not encountered Wang Chen, who possessed a reversal system; otherwise, Wang Chen could have bought out his entire supply on his own and made him rich beyond measure.

"Since I’ve already gathered the three materials, I’d better head for the quest location at once."

Wang Chen brought up his class panel, confirmed the location, hailed a taxi, and set off.

...

The warm white light faded, and Wang Chen stepped out of the teleportation array.

He had just followed the directions to a teleportation array and crossed over to the other side.

"So this should be the quest location?" Wang Chen looked around. The weather in this secret realm was mild, with lush trees and grass; at the very least, he did not have to wear a down jacket like he did on the Windbitten Plain.

"Though there’s a bit of trouble: the sign at the teleportation array entrance marks this secret realm as unfinished."

An unfinished secret realm meant that the professionals had not yet fully explored it to the edge of the map.

On one hand, that suggested the realm might be quite vast; on the other, it also suggested there might not be any special equipment or materials that professionals needed.

"Let me see which way to go next..." Wang Chen was studying the class panel when, all at once, a figure entered the edge of his vision.

He closed the panel at once and looked toward the figure.

It was a young man with somewhat rugged features, looking about Wang Chen’s age. The moment he saw Wang Chen, he began speaking.

His voice was deep. "Your efficiency is pretty impressive, huh? You got here before me. I came all the way from the tribe and already ran as fast as I could."

"What?" Wang Chen blinked in confusion.

"Aren’t you from Shunbang Express?" the young man asked. "I ordered some materials through you guys."

"Of course I’m not. I’m not even wearing a courier uniform, can’t you tell? If Shunbang Express is this unprofessional, you should file a complaint," Wang Chen said with some amusement, understanding where the misunderstanding had come from.

But the young man’s last sentence made Wang Chen think of something.

"Wait, you ordered materials? Mind telling me what kind?"

The young man seemed utterly unsuspecting and answered Wang Chen’s question without a second thought.

Wang Chen stared in astonishment. With a flick of his fingertips, the three materials needed for the quest appeared on the ground.

"Are these the ones?"

The young man clapped his hands in delight when he saw them. "Yes! Those are exactly what I wanted!"

Then he looked at Wang Chen in confusion. "Didn’t you say you weren’t a courier?"

"I..." Wang Chen did not know how to explain it, and for a moment he was at a loss for words.

To his surprise, the young man suddenly looked as though he understood everything. He patted Wang Chen on the shoulder.

"Ah, I get it. You’re not wearing your uniform today and you’re afraid I’ll file a complaint, so you don’t dare admit it, right?"

He thumped his broad, well-developed chest and reassured him, "Don’t worry, I won’t complain about you."

Then the young man stuffed the materials into a leather pouch. "I’m off then. Thanks."

With that, he turned and ran off in one direction.

Wang Chen did not stop him. He let him take the materials away, because just as the young man packed them into the pouch, a prompt sounded in Wang Chen’s ear.

[Preliminary class-change quest completed; formal quest issued.]

[Quest Title: The Youngest Wind Hunter]

[Quest Objective: Assist Su of the Wind Hunter tribe in his warrior trial, and witness his growth.]

"Su? Could that be that fellow just now?"

A thought stirred in Wang Chen’s mind, and he quickly chased after the direction the young man had gone.

About ten minutes later, a figure emerged from the teleportation array, carrying a cardboard box in his arms. On the back of his uniform were the words Shunbang Express.

...

"Hey! Wait up, man!" After a burst of pursuit, Wang Chen finally caught sight of the young man’s back.

At the shout, the young man stopped and turned to look at him in confusion.

"What’s up? Need something else?"

Wang Chen had been running hard and was a little winded. Panting, he asked, "Are you called Su?"

"Huh? How did you know? Isn’t the name I entered on the order 'Cool and Aloof Wind Hunter Envoy'?" Su asked, scratching his head.

What sort of strange tribe is this? Wang Chen grumbled inwardly, beginning to suspect he had run into a male version of Lin Lehan.

After explaining things to Su, the latter finally understood. He set down the leather pouch and gave Wang Chen’s shoulder a hearty smack.

"So you’re my partner! Ancestors of the Wind Hunters above, thank the great protection! They’ve sent me a warrior!" Su said happily.

Wang Chen was nearly shaken apart by the blows and hurriedly pried his hand away.

"Let’s get your warrior trial done first. We can celebrate after that."

"True enough," Su agreed earnestly. "I saw online that you shouldn’t pop the champagne before halftime."

Wang Chen stared. "Your tribe has internet access?"

Su waved a hand. "No, I sneak out through the teleportation array and find an internet cafe outside. Probably once every two days."

Good heavens, he was an internet addict after all. No wonder his human speech was fairly good, though there was still an air of utter innocence about him.

"Let’s go. You lead the way," Wang Chen said.

Su nodded, and the two of them dashed off together.

...

They passed through the quiet forest, and the view suddenly opened wide. A verdant grassland spread out before Wang Chen.

Not far away stood a cluster of tents like yurts. Su said that was their tribe.

But Su did not head there now. They merely looked toward the tribe from afar before continuing along the edge of the forest.

Soon, Su led Wang Chen to a yurt pitched beneath a cliff.

A Wind Hunter tribesman who had been wandering nearby saw Su and came over at once.

The two exchanged a string of words in the tribal tongue. Su handed him the leather pouch, and the other man turned and went into the yurt.

This time, Wang Chen could understand them, because he had specifically bought an earbud-style translator from the United Commerce Exchange.

However, their exchange consisted only of a few aimless pleasantries and a reminder about the pouch. He still did not understand what was going on.

So Wang Chen asked Su about it.

The latter replied casually, "Oh, I asked this brother to spend a year online for me, and he’s helping me go collect the Wind Hunter Bow."

Wang Chen was full of confusion. "Collect the Wind Hunter Bow? Shouldn’t he be making a bow for you?"

"Don’t be silly. How could you make a good bow from scratch that fast? A decent Wind Hunter Bow takes more than a year. Just processing the wood alone takes half a year," Su said with a pout.

"What they use now is all prefabrication, so once you hand over the materials, you can pick up the bow right away. In other words, the materials I gave him are for making the next tribesman’s bow. That’s what you call inheritance!" Su said with unmistakable pride.
