The accompanying instructor of the Judgment Knights widened his eyes: "With almost no fluctuations, this technique is no less than the Heavenly Emperor's. Judging by her voice, she seems quite young. Are all the freaks gathering together these days?"

"Did you not watch the selection for this year’s Holy Son and Holy Daughter?"

"That children's game? Only you have the leisure to watch every match. I only know that the top ranker this year is from a low-level civilization, slapping the faces of the high-level civilizations soundly. In the end, she even made off with a huge sum from the Five Civilizations Alliance of the Danger Zone. His Majesty Anthony personally helped her collect it, and even tax-exempted it."

"The top ranker who made such a comeback is indeed her—an intern Holy Daughter under thirty, proficient in the four realms of Space-Time. Lord Cain once said that the Heavenly Emperor’s Space-Time Laws all originated from her, and she practices the myriad laws of space-time. With such talent and comprehension, I wonder if His Majesty Anthony has someone backing her, to dare let her out like this?"

"Are you talking about me?" A voice suddenly cut in. The void rippled as a small fish, the size of a palm, swam out. It looked like a whale, just far too small.

The several Judgment Knights immediately saluted: "Senior White Whale."

The little fish flicked its tail, fins gliding: "Good eye, better than Cain’s. The Heavenly Emperor is a freak, and little Hongye is no less than him. But no matter how good their potential is, they haven't fully grown yet. Don't go spouting nonsense."

The protection where the Great Sun God Lord was healing was formidable, but it could not stop Sang Sang. She had entered the node of the folded space at a point in the past before the protective array had fully formed. By entering the array and returning to the present time, she bypassed the protective array without triggering any disturbances.

The Great Sun God Lord sensed an intruder in his room, but it was too late to react.

Sang Sang was no gentleman; she had no intention of fighting him head-on. She immediately threw out a pre-prepared time-locking disk. In the instant time and space froze, she unfurled *The Tomb of Gods* and sucked him inside. By the time the protective array sensed the absence and sounded an alarm, she had already taken the Great Sun God Lord out of the fortress.

In the void outside, the Judgment Knights watching the event couldn't help but rub their eyes, looking at Sang Sang with newfound respect.

They had expected another brute-force freak like the Heavenly Emperor, but her methods were far cleaner and more decisive. If nothing went wrong, her survival rate would likely be higher than his.

Sang Sang arrived outside the fortress. The guardians in the void had already concealed themselves. She did not bother looking for them, instead stepping along space-time nodes to the location where the Heavenly Emperor had last disappeared. She established a space-time barrier in the void, unfurled *The Tomb of Gods*, and stepped inside, standing atop the Sacred Heart of the Primordial Demon.

The Great Sun God Lord was panicked. Sensing something was wrong, he used the Law of Time to escape into the past, but did not expect his opponent to follow him instantly. The space-time around him was locked, and the next moment, the environment shifted into a battlefield—the battlefield of the gods.

At first, he thought it was an illusion, but his time-breaking techniques failed. The mere shockwaves of the battlefield worsened his injuries by thirty percent.

"Will of the Gods! The Tomb of Gods!" The Great Sun God Lord shrieked in terror.

As a priest of the temple, he had been inside the Tomb of Gods and knew the lethality of the lingering wills of the gods. A friend of his had once tried to capture these wills into a magical artifact to temper his spirit, only to end up consumed by madness and dying during a cultivation mishap.

The divine wills before him were even more concentrated than those in the Tomb of Gods, and far more violent, chaotic, and dense than what his friend had collected. Without stardust, even someone who had cultivated their own Essence would find the Tomb of Gods extremely dangerous; and given his currently shattered Essence and his magical artifacts destroyed by the Heavenly Emperor, he was unable to block the invasion of the gods' wills. In less than a quarter of an hour, his consciousness would be crushed by the violent, murderous intent.

Gone was the dignity of a God Lord. He struggled to maintain a defensive circle with his jumbled faith power, pleading and even shamelessly begging for mercy on his knees. Yet, the master of this space did not appear. His defensive circle grew thinner and smaller, his consciousness fading, as if he would collapse at any second and become one of the gods, remaining in the Tomb of Gods forever.

Sang Sang stood silently atop the Sacred Heart of the Primordial Demon, waiting.

The Great Sun God Lord's defensive circle shattered, and the violent energy surged, swallowing him whole.

The next second, a brilliant holy light erupted, pushing back the darkness. The dying Great Sun God Lord stood up. His pathetic, cowardly expression vanished, replaced by a resolute and heroic demeanor. Aside from a pale face and reddened eyes, there were no signs of injury, and his faith power had shifted from its previous chaotic state to a purity that met the temple's standards.

"Truly remarkable."

Sang Sang curled her lips slightly. Someone who could make the Heavenly Emperor suffer wouldn't just give up without a fight. Feigning weakness was a tactic she had used to death.

The Great Sun God Lord no longer tried to find the master of the Tomb of Gods. He burned his faith power, attempting to crack the violent energy and secretly searching for the core of this space, hoping to seize control of this small world.

"His application of faith power is masterful, and with the Law of Time and the gift of prophecy, he should be a clear-headed person. Why seek his own death?"

Sang Sang did not understand. As a priest, he must know the temple's rules and its power. The Main Brain could tolerate many things, but it could never tolerate forced faith or the deification of individuals.

Playing such games in a small world was one thing, but doing so in the Great World—even in remote, low-to-mid-level civilizations—would eventually lead to a reckoning. Even if the Heavenly Emperor and his cohorts failed their mission, those involved would not escape the reach of the Judgment Knights.

"If you want to die, I'll send you on your way." Sang Sang revealed a slight opening.

The Great Sun God Lord was ecstatic. Having been repeatedly injured, his faith power—accumulated over hundreds of years—was exhausted. The space-time in the Tomb of Gods was abnormal, the Law of Time had failed, and his gift of prophecy was useless to him. He was truly at the end of his rope. Even if it were a trap, he had no choice but to jump. With his final bit of faith power, he wrapped his soul and charged into the disguised Sacred Heart of the Primordial Demon.

Though the Sacred Heart appeared dead, the seven emotions and six desires contained within had not dissipated. Instead, over time, they had formed realistic illusions, creating a cycle of reincarnation within.

Sang Sang did not enter the Sacred Heart. Although she could use it, the small world within was not under her control. She had a lingering feeling that she would regret entering it, especially after discovering that the Primordial Demon himself had likely reincarnated. For her, the Sacred Heart was merely a tool to suppress the wills of the gods in *The Tomb of Gods*. She had no intention of keeping it permanently; once the Law of Space-Time could fully seal the Tomb, the Sacred Heart would be disposable.

The Great Sun God Lord was reborn into the imperial family of an illusionary empire. The faith power he carried caused the night to turn into day at his birth, accompanied by a halo of holy light. Known as the descent of the Imperial Star, he was viewed with deep suspicion and faced constant assassination attempts. But because he retained his memories and was protected by the holy light, others could not harm him.

"The soul governs the spirit, the body governs the physical... birth, reincarnation, soul and body..."
